Rashaad Penny suffered a major knee injury during the Seattle Seahawks 28-12 loss to the Rams on Sunday night in Los Angeles. Earlier today, Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll confirmed that Penny tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season. The only questions that remain are how long the rehab and recovery process will take and if Penny will be ready for action at the start of the 2020 season.

A 2018 first-round selection, Rashaad Penny (San Diego State) had become a big contributor for Seattle’s offense, both on the ground and in the passing game. The dual-threat option made for a great tandem piece with Seahawks starting running back Chris Carson. Seattle will likely turn to C.J. Prosise to try to fill the hole left by Penny’s injury.
