Is This the Padres New Uniform?

Twitter has been abuzz with San Diego Padres uniform talk. The team announced that they would be bringing back the brown at a grand unveiling event set to take place at Petco Park on Saturday night, but based on some marketing materials that have been released, there is reason to believe that the wordmark has been leaked.

For a team that has long lacked an identity, the brown and yellow look is distinctly Padres. It will be a great look to usher in a new era of San Diego Padres baseball.

Based on information that has been floating around online over the last few weeks, days, and hours, here is my final mockup before the unveiling.

If this is the wordmark and look the team decided to go with, I think most fans will be very pleased. Now we wait.
