NFL Week 5, MLB Playoffs

 

In the first edition of BCSC Crosstalk, the BCSC Podcast crew discusses their NFL Survivor picks and takeaways from the MLB Divisional Round.

Poor Andy put too much faith in the Tennessee Titans, who needed 4 missed field goals to lose to the Buffalo Bills and end Andy’s Survivor season. Thomas had the smart-money pick with the New England Patriots against Washington, and although he had to sweat it out early, the Pats ran away late. Brian had the easiest Sunday as the Eagles ran away from the Jets, jumping out to an early three touchdown lead and never looking back.

Brian thinks the Raiders are a surprise contender in the AFC and that the Nationals are going to beat the Dodgers in the NLDS. Thomas thinks the bullpens need to step up or the Braves and Twins are going to be watching the rest of the playoffs from home. Andy takes his Survivor frustrations out on a punching bag.
